Koos Bekker – Biography Koos Bekker led the founding team of M-Net in 1985, serving as Chief Executive of the MIH group until 1997. He was also a Founding Director of MTN. He is a Director of Media24, MIH B.V., MIH (Mauritius) Limited, MIH Holdings, MultiChoice South Africa Holdings and other companies in the wider group. He also serves on the local organising committee for the 2010 Fifa Soccer World Cup and the Council of Stellenbosch University. He has been Chief Executive of Naspers since 1997. |

Nolo Letele – Biography Nolo Letele joined M-Net in 1990 and has held a number of senior positions within the MIH group. Prior to that he was Chief Engineer at the Lesotho National Broadcasting Service. Currently he is Chief Executive of MultiChoice South Africa. Salukazi Dakile-Hlongwane – Biography is the current Deputy Chairperson and Chief Executive of Nozala Investments (Proprietary) Limited. She is a founder member of Nozala Investments (Proprietary) Limited, a broad-based women's investment company, whose aim is to promote economic empowerment of women in general and black women in particular. Salukazi is a Director of a number of companies, including Nozala Diamonds, Nozala Coal, Educor - ICG Solutions and Absa Provincial Advisory Board. Salukazi also serves as a trustee of Nozala Trust and Chancellor House Trust. |

Don Eriksson – Biography Don Eriksson is a chartered accountant (SA) and a fellow of the Institute of Directors. He became a partner of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1976 and was a member of the council and Executive. In 1990 he joined CGU Insurance Company (SA) Limited, Commercial Union Life Insurance Company Limited and Sentrasure Limited as executive director. Don is currently the chairperson of General Accident Insurance Company (SA) Limited, Insurance Outsourcing Managers Holdings Limited, Renasa Insurance Company and the audit committee of Discovery Health Medical Aid Scheme. He has served on the council of the Institute of Directors (IOD) for a number of years and is currently an active member of the Audit Committee Forum. |

Khulu Sibiya – Biography Khulu Sibiya is currently Chairman of SuperSport United Football Club, Chairman of Litha Healthcare Holdings and a council member of the University of Johannesburg. Jim Volkwyn – Biography Jim Volkwyn began his career with the Naspers group in 1991 as finance manager of M-Net. From 1996 to 1997 he was Chief operating officer and finance Manager of MultiChoice Africa. Subsequently, he was Chief Executive of MCA for three years, where he remains on the board of Directors. In 2000 he was appointed Chief Executive officer of MIH's television operations. His directorships include, among others, MWEB Connect (Proprietary) Limited, MultiChoice South Africa Holdings (Proprietary) Limited and other companies within the MultiChoice group. He holds a BCom from the University of Cape Town and qualifi ed as a CA(SA). |

Steve Pacak – Biography Steve Pacak was reappointed to the board on 1 April 2009 after a three-month sabbatical. Steve began his career with the Naspers group as group financial Manager of M-Net in 1988 and held various Executive positions in the MIH group. Steve was the Chief fi nancial offi cer of MIH Holdings (MIHH) from November 1993 to January 1998. He is a Director of Media24, MIH B.V., MIH (Mauritius) Limited, MIH Holdings, MultiChoice South Africa Holdings and other companies within the wider Naspers group. Steve was appointed an Executive Director of Naspers in 1998. |

Ton Vosloo – Biography Ton Vosloo became managing Director of Naspers Limited in 1984, serving as Executive Chairperson from 1992 to 1997. He served as a journalist from 1956 to 1983 and editor of Beeld from 1977 to 1983. He is a director of Media24 and MultiChoice South Africa Holdings, and Chairman of MIH B.V., MIH (Mauritius) and MIH Holdings, and independent Non-Executive Chairman of the board of Naspers, a position he has held since 1997. He is a former Chairman of Sanlam, M-Net, the WWF (SA) and of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra. Ton was awarded the Nieman Fellowship from Harvard University in 1970. He has been awarded three honorary doctorates. |

Fergus Sampson – Biography Fergus Sampson is the CEO of the Emerging Markets Division for South Africa’s largest print media company, Media24. Born and raised in South Africa, Sampson completed his undergraduate education in the USA and joined the newspaper industry shortly afterwards. He cut his teeth with Independent Newspapers in South Africa where he launched a trio of successful soccer magazines. Sampson joined Deon du Plessis in his quest for a working class newspaper in South Africa and became a founding member of the Daily Sun newspaper. He served as the general manager of Daily Sun for five years and helped to guide the paper from its conceptual stages to the biggest daily and number-one newspaper brand in South Africa within five years. Sampson now manages a stable of newspapers, including Daily Sun, Sunday Sun, a regional Afrikaans language tabloid, a free weekly paper and a weekly soccer paper. In combination, the stable reaches more than seven million readers daily. Sampson serves on the boards of Directors of Natal Witness, South African Press Association, Print Media South Africa and MultiChoice. |

GLEN Marques – Biography Glen has degree in Journalism from Rhodes University and an LLB from the University of Natal. He worked briefly as a newspaper reporter before turning to law and practicing as an attorney. He joined the (IBA) Independent Broadcasting Association (the forerunner to ICASA) as its Senior Legal Adviser, after which he was appointed Executive Director of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). |

Imtiaz Patel – Biography Imtiaz Patel qualified as a teacher from WITS University in 1986. He then went on to teach at a private school in Soweto for three years. It was at this time that the cricket development programme was born and he joined in a full time capacity from 1 January 1991 working for the United Cricket Board of SA and later was made General Manager of the Schools and Development. Here he commercialised the programme and pioneered the much acclaimed Mentoring initiative for young township cricketers. In 2010 Imtiaz took on the role as Multichoice Group CEO.

Patricia van Rooyen – Biography Patricia van Rooyen is the CEO of M-Net, South Africa's leading pay-television service, which boasts an array of general entertainment and niche channels available on various platforms across the African continent. Before joining M-Net in 2008, Patricia was the CEO of Media24 Magazines, a division of the Naspers group. Patricia has a BA Degree from UNISA as well as an MBA from Wits Business School. She has represented Naspers on various media company boards over the years. Patricia has been in media management since 1995. |

Chris Hitchings – Biography Chris Hitchings is the CEO of DStv Media Sales (formerly Oracle Airtime Sales). He has been with the company for the past 15 years starting out as a Sales Executive and holding a variety of managerial positions until taking over as Chief Executive last year. He has been involved in the media sales industry for over 20 years having sold advertising on radio (SABC) and in the commuter arena (Taxinet now Comutanet). He holds diplomas in Sales Management (Cape Technicon), Marketing Management (Damelin) and International Advertising (AAA School) and has completed the Naspers Media Management Programme.

John Kotsaftis – Biography John's career spans the growth of the World Wide Web, starting out as a web programmer and then as a start-up entrepreneur in London during the dot.com boom. He then returned to South Africa in 2003 to launch I-Zone, Naspers's first Internet incubator, housed at MWEB. |

Nico Meyer – Biography Nico qualified as Chartered Accountant (SA) on first attempt through part time studies. Nico Joined PWC in January 1989 as Senior Manager. In Jan 1998 Nico started his journey with the group in MIH Holdings Limited as Group management accountant. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of MCA (Pty) Ltd in Nov 2003. During his career he participated in a secondment program to the USA for two years and only focussed on telecommunication clients. For the past five years Nico held the position of Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice South Africa. Currently Nico is CEO of MultiChoice Africa.

Collins Khumalo – Biography Since joining the company 14 years ago, MultiChoice South Africa CEO, Collins Khumalo has worked in several senior management positions across MultiChoice Africa’s major divisions, and has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of MultiChoice’s business. Collins has been a board member of MultiChoice since 2005 and has worked in some of the most challenging projects and markets across the African continent. This includes key leadership positions such as CEO of Channel O and heading the MultiChoice business in Botswana and Nigeria, before returning to assume the position Chief Operations Officer (COO) at MultiChoice South Africa and then leaving to head up the MultiChoice Africa business. Collins holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Wits Business School and a BA (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Fort Hare. Collins’s wealth of experience and strategic leadership is key to the company’s move to consolidate its footprint in South Africa as the leading satellite pay TV. |

Kwezi Mtengenya - Biography Kwezi completed a BA, LLB Degree (UCT) and was then admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1996. Later that year Kwezi was appointed as special advisor to the Chairperson of Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA). In 1998 Kwezi joined the MultiChoice group as Director of Regulatory Affairs. |

Clinton Voskuil - Biography He started his career as an HR trainee at De Beers in 1992, at their Venetia mine in the Limpopo Province. He worked as HR Administration Manager for Asea Brown Boveri during 1994 and 1995. At Edcon, he spent a short spell as Divisional HR Manager before relocating to Cape Town during 1997. He worked as an HR Specialist for South African Breweries for 4 years and then joined Oceana as HR Manager. During November 2003 he joined Philip Morris International as HR Manager: South Africa. Clinton joined MWEB in October 2005 as General Manager: Human Resources. Clinton joined Multichoice in June 2012 and heads up the HR division for Multichoice South Africa and is HR GM for the Group. |

Jackie Rakitla - Biography Jackie held the position of Corporate Communications Officer at SAA from 1991 to 1998. Jackie successfully managed the crisis communication during the strike at SAA. He worked for the ABSA group from 2000 to 2003 and achieved building the Communication function for Barclays Africa. From 2003 to 2006 Jackie was Head of Communications at Barclays and lead the Africa Communication workstream on the Barclays acquisition of ABSA and was also responsible for streamlining the internal communication channels and implementing internal communication an e-business initiative for ABSA. In his first term at MultiChoice from 1998 to 2000, Jackie successfully managed the Y2k communication project and more recently when he rejoined the MultiChoice group in 2006, Jackie successfully developed the intranet and successfully implemented key CSI initiatives. |

Thabo Moabi - Biography In 1988 Thabo held the position of HR Manager at the Johannesburg City Council. In 1995 he joined Andersen Consulting as HR Manager, and three years later joined the MultiChoice group in 1998 as HR General Manager. In 2002 he was promoted to Operations General Manager, which he currently holds. In his tenure as Operations GM, Thabo has implemented a Competency Based Interviewing system; has implemented an Employee Self Service method; implemented the Africa Integration Project; initiated a National Customer Service Survey; positioned MultiChoice in the top 5 Contact Centres; launched the MultiChoice Delightful Resolution Strategy and in 2009 MultiChoice was rated in the top two with our IVR (integrated voice recorded) system at the G-Force Annual User Conference in Barcelona. Currently Thabo is Director of Operations for Africa. |

Zonke Gama - Biography Zonke joined MultiChoice in 2001 as an Agency Manager – Eastern Region. She then went on to hold various positions including that of Service Centre Manager, National Agencies Manager and National Service Centres Manager. Before her current position, Zonke was the Senior Call Centre Manager, responsible for over 1,200 employees within the Inbound Call Centre environment. Under her leadership, her department’s focus on quality customer experience contributed to the Customer Care Department team winning the 2010 and 2011 Orange Index Customer Survey in the Entertainment Sector and was positioned fourth and seventh respectively overall. Zonke was also instrumental in expanding the number of MultiChoice Service Agencies nationally and played a vital role in expanding the current Call Centre for MultiChoice. Zonke holds a BComm degree, completed the Management Advancement Programme from Wits University and the Media Management Programme from the Stellenbosch University. Zonke’s portfolio entails servicing all MCA South Africa customers. This includes all walk-in service centres, contact centre and technical support. At a strategic level she is responsible for designing and monitoring integrated processes governing the corporation’s interactions with its customers.. |

Errol Du Preez – Biography Errol joined Nedcor in 1981 and then moved over to the MultiChoice group in 1999 and all highlights have been in the Information Technology environment where Errol has spent the last 23 years. He has played a significant role in the conversion of the Nedcor Bank legacy banking systems, to new systems running on IBM platforms. Errol received special recognition for this and the project was ranked the 2nd best project of the year in South Africa. Errol managed the conversion of MultiChoice legacy billing system to the new system running on a Microsoft platform. |
